Next is all about rich technical learning and knowledge sharing. If you’re a Googler, Customer, Partner, and Industry Expert and want to teach your peers something new, now’s the time to share. Please, no sales pitches or promotional talks.
The Call for Session Proposals is now closed. Edits to submissions are no longer possible. Notifications will be sent in early February 2024.

As a speaker you will be responsible for completing all of your speaker and session tasks. Please refer to the Session Content Timeline throughout your preparation to speak at Google Cloud Next '24.

Call for Proposals Notifications
Notifications for all proposals (including selected and declined submissions), will be sent to all proposed speakers. -
Late March 24
Final presentation slides due
Exact date to be shared with all selected speakers. A Next event-branded presentation slides template will be provided to all speakers for creation of their slide deck. -

Join us for a pre-arrival call highlighting all the important onsite speaker and session details you'll need to know. -

Onsite Tech Checks
30-minute Tech Check with production agency to practice demos and speaker transitions. -

Time commitment
You will have two months leading up to the event to work closely with your co-speaker(s), the speaker management team, and your internal colleagues on content development and presentation prep.
The exact day and time of your session(s) will be scheduled in early March but we encourage you to book travel to be onsite for the entire duration of the event.
When you’re not presenting, you can network, schedule meetings, and attend other sessions. Google speakers may be asked to staff and support other areas of the event.

The Google Cloud Next '24 CFP opens Tuesday, November 14th, and closes Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:59 pm PST.
All breakouts (including panels) are 45 minutes long. There are other session formats at the event that your submission may be considered for that will range from 15-60min in duration.
Yes, you will be able to submit a maximum of 2 proposals.
Companies outside of Google Cloud can submit no more than 3 proposals.
Yes, but all proposed speakers must agree to be included, so please ensure they are aware prior to completing your submission. A confirmation email will be sent to all participants entered as part of the submission.
Selected speakers are expected to confirm their participation, provide a headshot, and short bio in time to be featured in the Next '24 session library. Speakers will have two months leading up to the event to work closely with your co-presenters, the speaker management team, and internal colleagues on content development and presentation prep.

Notifications will be sent early February 2024.
Yes, all external speakers are required to submit a signed speaker release. Google speakers are required to take internal speaker training and follow company guidelines.
Next '24 is a fully in-person experience taking over the Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas, NV from April 9–11, 2024.
